I need money advice 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ever wish you could ask someone else what they’d do in your financial situation? Now’s your chance! Send in your situation and get a CPA’s perspective.

Scenario: I’m new to personal finance. I built a budget but I don’t make enough money to really use my budget.

What I’d do:

If you make any money at all, you can use YNAB to learn how to budget!

It’s easier when you have less money because you can see how the app works better.

The hard part is feeling like you are restricting yourself by using a budget.

But you’re not. You’re intentionally assigning a job to your money.

This is clarity.

This is freedom when it comes to money!

Here’s a tip: don’t assign a job to your money that you think it should have. Assign the real job you will use it for. Just be honest with yourself about what you’ll do with your money and you’ll feel better about it.

Budgeting creates freedom. It aligns your spending habits to your goals. Remove the feeling of needing to be perfect with your budget.

It’s just a plan that helps guide you.
